How is Dataddo deployed?

SAT-7 is extensively using Facebook as a communication channel to reach its viewers across many countries in the region of the Middle East and North Africa. With many different Facebook accounts, getting the right insights and managing all the data used to require a lot of manual tasks. Also, because Facebook Insights have certain limitations, especially when it comes to reaching historic data and combining certain metrics together, a service capable of automatically collect and store sets of metrics tailored to SAT-7 was highly required. After Dataddo was deployed, data from all SAT-7 Facebook accounts are automatically collected and transformed on daily basis, thus saving many man-hours of previously rather laborious and boring work. Moreover, because SAT-7 reporting requirements go far beyond standard Facebook Insights capabilities, Dataddo integrates the data across all the accounts and combines them with other offline data into one consolidated dataset. Such output is provided via Dataddo API to SAT-7 business intelligence and dashboarding software.

Having significant e-commerce activities across multiple countries worldwide, the company tracks multiple KPIs using Google Analytics. The need to further optimize on-line activies let the company to the decision to directly interact with e-commerce data within existing DWH solution. Dataddo enables this by providing "a bridge" between Google Analytics and company's data warehouse. The data representing performance of each country are automatically extracted to Dataddo on daily basis and further transformed and combined with the data provided in CSV files. How is Dataddo deployed?

To continuously optimize performance of e-commerce activities, SDU tracks multiple KPI using Google Analytics. In order to have all the data "under one roof" the company decided to incorporate Google Analytics data into existing data-warehousing infrastructure. For this case, Dataddo provides an instrument to automatically extract the 6-dimensional datasets and push the data in machine-readable format to SFTP server, where processed by existing DWH system.
