No. Dataddo is fully managed: we maintain the connectors, adapt to source schema changes, and alert you if anything needs attention. There is no infrastructure for you to run.
Dataddo supports password-based or key-pair authentication against your account identifier, with the database and schema in uppercase (schema defaults to PUBLIC) and an optional warehouse. The role needs USAGE, SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE and CREATE TABLE on the target schema; a future grant keeps permissions on newly created tables.
If your Snowflake account has a network policy enabled, add the Dataddo IP ranges to it (see docs.dataddo.com/docs/network-acl). Otherwise the policy blocks Dataddo's connection.
Snowflake table names are uppercase, must start with a letter or underscore, and may contain only letters, numbers, underscores and dollar signs. Missing tables are created on the first write and date tokens such as {{1d1}} are supported.
Yes. Dataddo does reverse ETL - push modeled metrics and segments from Snowflake into CRMs, ad platforms, spreadsheets, BI tools, and other operational apps.
Dataddo is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, PII can be masked or hashed, and EU or US data residency is available.
