Questions Claude can answer from your LinkedIn Organic data

LinkedIn Organic covers the LinkedIn company pages you administer: followers by day and by audience segment, page views, page and post engagement, and video analytics. Dataddo extracts them per company page, so marketing can ask about audience growth and content performance in plain language. Paid campaigns are a separate connector, LinkedIn Ads.

Monthly social report draft

Ask Claude

For last month, sum Organic Follower Gain and Paid Follower Gain per Organization Name, then list the five posts with the highest Engagement and quote their Commentary.

The social media manager asks Claude on the first working day of the month and edits the draft into the report for the marketing lead, rather than stitching three page analytics tabs together.

Which topics earn clicks

Ask Claude

Read Post Lifetime Engagement Metrics for this quarter, group posts by the theme of their Commentary, and compare Click Count per Impression Count for each theme.

A content strategist sees that product how-tos earn clicks while event recaps only collect likes, and shifts the next month's calendar toward what drives visits.

Follower growth chart in the repo

Ask Claude

Use the dataddo server to pull Organic Follower Gain and Paid Follower Gain by Start for the last 12 months at Month granularity and write data/linkedin-followers.csv.

A marketing analyst runs Claude Code next to the reporting notebook, commits the CSV and regenerates the growth chart for the quarterly board deck.

With vs. without

LinkedIn Organic in Claude, with and without Dataddo

Without Dataddo With Dataddo Outcome for you
Monthly reporting Someone downloads the followers, visitors and updates tabs from LinkedIn page analytics, merges them in a spreadsheet and pastes a summary into the chat. Claude reads Company Daily Follower Metrics, Company Daily Views Metrics and Post Lifetime Engagement Metrics from the latest extraction in one conversation. Report drafted in minutes
Organic versus paid Follower totals in the deck mix sponsored and organic growth, and nobody can tell how much the ads budget bought. Organic Follower Gain and Paid Follower Gain arrive as separate fields, so Claude reports each and the share that came from paid. Paid growth made visible
Several company pages Brand, careers and product pages are exported one by one, and the numbers are compared by eye. One source can cover every company page your LinkedIn account administers, and Claude compares them by Organization Name. All pages side by side
Team access in Claude Each marketer keeps a personal export, so follower numbers in different decks never quite match. A Claude Team or Enterprise Owner adds the connector once, and each marketer signs in with their own Dataddo account. One set of numbers for the team
Token consumption Claude spends tokens exploring raw LinkedIn Organic columns, sampling rows and retrying until it understands the data. Field definitions and relations are supplied up front, so the model skips the exploration and goes straight to the answer. Fewer tokens per answer
Answer quality Prone to wrong joins, invented fields and numbers that are hard to check. Answers grounded in defined fields. In the Dataddo benchmark, 78.5% of questions were answered correctly, against 65.5% with plain CSV files. Better answers

FAQ

LinkedIn Organic and Claude: FAQ

How do I connect LinkedIn Organic to Claude?

Create a LinkedIn Organic source in Dataddo, sign in with a LinkedIn account that administers your company page, and pick datasets such as Company Daily Follower Metrics and Post Lifetime Engagement Metrics. Attach it to a Claude destination or AI Model, then connect Dataddo Data Access from the Claude connectors directory.

Which LinkedIn permissions does Dataddo need for company page data?

The LinkedIn account you authorize must have ADMINISTRATOR permissions on the company page; otherwise the Company page list in Dataddo stays empty. Claude never sees the LinkedIn sign-in, only the data Dataddo extracts.

Does this include our LinkedIn ad campaigns?

No. LinkedIn Organic covers company page followers, views, posts and video analytics. Campaign spend and results come from the separate LinkedIn Ads connector, which you can attach to Claude as another flow.

Why does Claude only see recent follower gains?

Company Daily Follower Metrics reads a relative date window that moves forward on every run. Run a full data re-sync with a wider range once, and Claude can then compare earlier months too.

Can I use LinkedIn page data in Claude Code?

Yes. Signed in with your Claude account, Claude Code loads the Dataddo connector, so you query LinkedIn Organic entities from the terminal while you work on reports or notebooks in a repository.

Can Claude publish or edit LinkedIn posts?

No. Claude queries extracted data through the semantic layer by entity and field name. Dataddo never accepts SQL from the model, and nothing is written back to LinkedIn.

Can I control which Dataddo tools Claude calls?

Yes. Claude lists the connector's tool permissions, and for each tool you decide whether Claude may use it freely or must ask you first, for example before a refresh.
