Open balance comes from the AR Aging Detail Report, which pulls all current data on each run, not from summing invoice history.
QuickBooks is accounting software for small and medium businesses. Dataddo extracts its transactions and standard reports, from invoices and bills to AR and AP aging, cash flow and profit and loss.
Show the Balance for Customers with Display Name Bluebird Studio, any Credit Memos with Remaining Credit, and their Payments this month.
The bookkeeper checks what a customer really owes net of unused credits before the statement goes out, approving each lookup so the reply's sources are clear.
First run data_status on the AP Aging Detail Report. If it is current, list every Vendor with Past due above 30 and its Open balance.
Ahead of the weekly payment run, the AP clerk sees which vendors are furthest past due and checks recent BillPayments before deciding which bills to pay first.
From General Ledger Report V2, list this month's postings above 5,000 by Account name and Transaction type, with the Memo text.
A controller scans large or unusual postings by account before closing the month, then follows up only on the entries that need a second look.

On ChatGPT web, enable developer mode and create an app for https://headless.dataddo.com/mcp-data with OAuth, leaving the client fields empty.
Developer mode is on the Pro, Plus, Business, Enterprise and Education plans, on the web only. On Business and Enterprise a workspace admin may need to allow it before you add the Dataddo app.
ChatGPT asks you to confirm each tool call before it runs. For accounting data that is a useful check: you see whether it reads Customers, the AP aging report or the general ledger before anything is returned.
Only if you extract them. Customers includes Primary Email Address and Primary Phone. Exclude or hash those columns in the source and ChatGPT never receives the raw values.
It can call data_status for freshness and known_gaps for questions the data cannot answer. Reports such as AR and AP aging pull all current data on every scheduled run, so the run time is what matters.
In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings > Security and login > Developer mode. Then create the app with the Dataddo URL, sign in with OAuth and pick Dataddo Data Access from the + menu in a chat.
Yes. The Dataddo Data Access app settings let you switch individual tools on or off, for example keeping query and describe_entity while switching off refresh.
