How much of our Facebook Page media views were organic in September?

Claude Answer · Facebook Organic

Organic media views held steady at 177k to 195k a week. Paid views jumped in the week of 8 Sep, when posts were boosted, so that spike is not organic growth.

WeekPage Media View (Organic)Page Media View (Paid)
1-7 Sep Page Daily Media Views by Ad Status 182,40096,300
8-14 Sep Page Daily Media Views by Ad Status 176,900141,200
15-21 Sep Page Daily Media Views by Ad Status 188,10088,700
22-28 Sep Page Daily Media Views by Ad Status 194,60090,500

Organic and paid views are separate rows from Facebook's is_from_ads breakdown, added up by week.

Questions Claude can answer from your Facebook Organic data

Facebook Organic collects non-paid data from your own Facebook Pages: post and reel insights, page metrics, fans by market, comments, reviews, inbox metrics and lead form submissions.

Content themes that reach people

Ask Claude

Group last quarter's posts by theme based on their Message and compare average Lifetime Reach and Clicks per theme.

Claude reads the post text itself, clusters it into topics and ranks them, so next month's editorial calendar favours themes with proof behind them rather than gut feeling.

Video or no video

Ask Claude

Do posts with Views - Videos above zero get more Engagement per Lifetime Impressions than posts without video? Show the top five of each.

The answer settles the recurring debate about producing more video, with examples of the best posts on both sides for the creative team to review.

Fan growth script in Claude Code

Ask Claude

Query Page Daily Fans by Country through the dataddo server and write a script that charts weekly Fans Count per market to charts/fb-fans.py.

A marketing analyst keeps the market-by-market growth view as versioned code next to the rest of the analysis, so it runs the same way every quarter.

With vs. without

Facebook Organic in Claude, with and without Dataddo

Without Dataddo With Dataddo Outcome for you
Transposed insights Page and post exports list one metric per row, so someone pivots Title and Metric Value columns before Claude can compare anything. Posts Lifetime Insights by Post already has one row per post, and Claude can pivot transposed datasets by Title when you need them. No manual pivot tables
Reading the post text Post copy is read on Facebook while metrics sit in a separate export, so nobody links wording to results. The Message field arrives next to Lifetime Reach, Engagement and Clicks, so Claude can relate topic and tone to performance. Copy tied to results
Market-level fan data Fans by country are checked page by page in the Facebook interface, and month-old screenshots end up in the report. Page Daily Fans by Country re-reads its date range on every scheduled run, so Claude compares markets on current Fans Count. Current fans per market
Token consumption Claude spends tokens exploring raw Facebook Organic columns, sampling rows and retrying until it understands the data. Field definitions and relations are supplied up front, so the model skips the exploration and goes straight to the answer. Less tokens per answer
Answer quality Prone to wrong joins, invented fields and numbers that are hard to check. Answers grounded in defined fields. In the Dataddo benchmark, 78.5% of questions were answered correctly, against 65.5% with plain CSV files. Better answers

Benchmark

More right answers. Half the confident mistakes.

We asked 43 pre-registered questions of three real datasets - Google Search Console, HubSpot deals and Google Ads - and delivered the same rows to the same model in four ways. Only the data layer changed.

78.5%

of questions answered correctly - the best of the four delivery methods tested

2x

fewer confidently wrong answers - 14.0% of runs against 24.0% and 26.3%

2.8x

more correct answers on messy CRM data - better on 8 questions, worse on none

Answered correctly All 43 questions - higher is better
Wrong, but stated as fact Share of runs - lower is better

Same model, prompts and rows in every condition; 759 graded runs, ground truth frozen before any run. On Google Search Console alone, documented CSV files did as well as Data to AI™ - the advantage comes from messier data such as HubSpot deals.

FAQ

Facebook Organic and Claude: FAQ

How do I connect Facebook Organic to Claude?

Add a Facebook Organic source in Dataddo with Posts Lifetime Insights by Post and Page Daily Fans by Country, and attach it to a Claude destination or AI Model. Then add the Dataddo Data Access connector at https://headless.dataddo.com/mcp-data in Claude and sign in, or use claude mcp add in Claude Code.

Can Claude read the text of my Facebook posts?

Yes. Posts Lifetime Insights by Post includes the Message field, so Claude can group posts by topic or tone and relate the wording to Lifetime Reach, Engagement and Clicks.

Why is post data in some datasets one row per metric?

Transposed datasets such as Page Daily Insights Transposed store each metric as a row with Title and Metric Value. Ask Claude to pivot them, or use Posts Lifetime Insights by Post which already has one row per post.

Can I analyse Facebook Organic data in Claude Code?

Yes. Run claude mcp add with the Dataddo URL and sign in with /mcp. Claude Code then queries the same Facebook datasets while you write scripts, notebooks or reports in your repository.

Can Claude post on my Facebook Page?

No. Claude only queries data Dataddo has extracted, by entity and field name. Nothing is published or changed on Facebook.

Is one custom connector on Claude Free enough?

Yes, if Dataddo is the only custom connector you need. That one connector reaches every flow or Context attached to an AI destination or AI Model in your Dataddo account.

How much Facebook Page history can Claude analyse?

Up to 2 years, the Facebook API limit. A new source starts from its current date range, so load older fan and insights data once with a full data re-sync.
